    One of the few Television Personalities songs that betrays a solid class-of-'77 punk influence, both in Dan Treacy's yobbish, snotty (literally -- he sounds like he's got a bad head cold) vocals and in Mark Sheppard's pounding drums, "This Angry Silence" also features some very modish accoutrements, including the high, wordless backing vocals of Edward Ball, Treacy's Pete Townshend-inspired.
